CNN reported that (Reuters) – Former U.S. president Donald Trump lost his appeal to prevent former Vice President Mike Pence testifying as part of the special counsel investigation into attempts to overturn results of the presidential election in 2020.

Earlier this week, Trump's lawyers appealed a decision related to an investigation by the Justice Department into efforts to undermine Trump's election loss to Democrat Joe Biden.

Pence revealed that he will not appeal the judge's decision that he must testify before a federal grand juror about the conversations he had prior to the deadly attack at the U.S. Capitol in 2021.

CNN reported that the unanimous decision was made by judges Patricia Millett Robert Wilkins, and Greg Katsas of the DC Circuit Court of Appeals in a closed case on Wednesday evening.
