YES Network, MSG Networks to launch bundled New York regional sports app

Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment is set to launch a bundled app in the fall that will stream local games for seven New York area teams. This marks the first time two regional sports networks have combined their apps into a bundle. The Gotham Sports app will launch ahead of the NBA and NHL seasons, allowing locals to watch games of the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, New York Islanders, Buffalo Sabres, Brooklyn Nets, and New York Yankees with a subscription. The app offers different pricing options based on the desired teams. However, it does not include SportsNet New York, which is available through other platforms. The regional sports networks industry has experienced significant changes in recent years, with some teams exploring different broadcasting options.
