Washington Commanders strike stadium naming rights deal with Northwest Federal Credit Union
The Washington Commanders’ home stadium, previously without a naming rights partner since FedEx ended its deal in February, has been renamed Northwest Stadium. The new agreement with Northwest Federal Credit Union is valid until the 2030-2031 season and is reportedly worth an average yearly value in the low $8 million-range. The Commanders are also considering building a new stadium in either Washington, D.C. or Virginia. The expanded partnership with NWFCU includes branding across the stadium, as well as benefits for fans who are members of Northwest Federal Credit Union. The Commanders have the right to seek a new naming rights partner if they move into a new stadium before the agreement’s end. The Los Angeles Rams currently hold the most valuable stadium naming rights deal in the NFL.
