While Iran has conducted covert information operations against countries like Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United States in the past, its recent efforts have become more brazen and ambitious. The campaign appears to have targeted both former President Donald J. Trump and current President Biden, aiming to sow internal discord and discredit the US democratic system.
