Crypto magnate buys SpaceX mission for private polar spaceflight expedition

Cryptocurrency speculator Chun Wang has purchased a multi-day flight from SpaceX for an undisclosed amount. Wang plans to lead the first crewed mission in polar orbit, flying end-to-end over the Earth. The mission, called ‘Fram2’, is scheduled to launch near the end of this year. Wang has invited a trio of Arctic specialists to join him on the mission. The crew members began training with SpaceX this week. They hope that their flight will contribute to the idea that space is becoming more accessible to everyone.
