Baltimore hotel workers have joined a nationwide strike against three major hotel chains during a peak travel holiday. Over 200 hotel workers in Baltimore walked off the job at the Hilton Inner Harbor. The strike is part of a larger movement that has spread to 25 cities across the US, with more than 10,200 hotel workers participating. The workers are demanding higher pay, better working conditions, and an increase in staffing levels. They want the hotel industry to restore pandemic-era cuts, including daily room cleaning. Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott are the hotel chains facing the strike. The strike may expand to more hotels in other cities.
