Amazon Prime Video has released "Not Your Year," an El Dorado Hills Town Center romantic comedy that was filmed in 2015.

Paul Nicknig said that the film, which had been completed in 2017 but debuted the same year at the Sacramento International Film Festival, was unable to find a distributor.

Nicknig stated that the movie was not associated with any big stars. He forgot about it until last year, when he reedited and cut out about 15 minutes. It's available to stream on Google Play as well as Prime Video.

Jason Kuykendall and Elisabeth Nunziato are among the regulars of B Street Theatre who appear in this movie. The story revolves around the complicated relationship between two women and a man, set in the local scene of music.

Kevin Nagle is the owner of Town Center, and CEO of the soccer team Sacramento Republic FC. The movie includes a cameo from Nagle as well as several locations in Sacramento. Nagle was given an executive producer credit for the film. The budget was about $500,000.

Jim Meyers wrote and directed the film. He also received a producer's credit. Meyers co-wrote, produced and starred in the independent film "Her Minor Thing" filmed in Sacramento. The film premiered at the 2005 Seattle International Film Festival but was then released on video.
