The greatest business achievement of the last year was joining RXO and establishing an internal audit function. This is not only about protecting organizational value but also adding value through risk foresight, insight and services.

The greatest civic achievement of the last year was serving on the YMCA Board, where I had the chance to mentor and raise funds for youth and teen programs! I've also forged key partnerships in the Charlotte area to support internships at historically Black colleges (HBCUs).

Current civic/volunteer activity: YMCA of Greater Charlotte Association board of directors, NABA Charlotte Chapter; board member and Coach of Lake Norman Giants Football (PopWarner); board member of Dream the Impossible

What you enjoy most about Charlotte: Living in a city that is growing from a small town to one of America's fastest-growing cities.

Today, the issue of upward mobility for youth from underserved areas is the most pressing one. It is important that as the city grows it creates room for new while also preserving its rich history.
